The highlight of our trip to Lubbock was the area conference. We arrived on Thursday night at the mission home, where we stayed for the night. That evening we met Elder Marlin K Jensen of the First Quorum of the Seventy and his wife. What an experience to meet one of the genreal authorities. They carry such a powerful spirit with them. On Friday we were fed by talks from Elder Jensen, his wife and President and Sister Robison. The theme was teaching with the spirit. I have never been so filled with the spirit of our Father in Heaven. It felt so good and it was hard to say good bye. Of course being with the missionaries is always a good feeling. They are such valiant servants of the Lord. I will never think about prayer the same way. It is so important to involve your Father in Heaven in all your decisions and the way you get answers is through feeling the spirit when you pray. We love the Lord with all our hearts and love our mission. This is a beauitful place to be serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My testimony is growing so much.
