Conference Weekend

We were just uplifted tremendously by the General Confernce Talks by our Dear Prophet and Apostles. Oh how I love to hear them speak and give us advice and counsel. It made me feel real proud to be on a mission and Knowing we are doing the Lords work.

We couldn't watch it on TV in our pajamas though, like usual. We had to get dressed and go to the church house. I was shocked to find only the Elder and Us were there. Finally three more people who were traveling through came. I, of course, got a little teary eyed when I saw the tabernalce choir and thought of home and my kids and grandkids. I miss you guys something fierce. But with the knowledge of the gospel I know families are forever!!!

Dad and I have been led to a young man who has 6 kids. 5 of them have been taken away from him because he lost his job and home and is living in a room with his mom. He knows a little about the Book of Mormon and has asked us back. A miracle huh? God does help his missionaries.
