Rio River Museum

We went to the Rio River Museum for Dad's Birthday because dad loves histories of Rivers. However, it was just a museum of New Mexico History. A lot of it was on Billy the Kid. I took some pictures of Billy the Kid, the Gold sheriff's badge that was given to Sheriff Pat Garrett for killing Billy the Kid and some some other indian pictures. It was very interesting. There was a great reward for Billy the Kid and he was shot by Sheriff Garrett in the middle of the night in his stocking feet without a gun. Actually he was gunned down. He is well known in New Mexico history and was just granted a pardon by the state of New Mexico for being the only person ever tried in the Lincoln County shootout. There were hundreds of men who died at that shootout and Billy the Kid was the only one who escaped.
