Later that day we went to have a picture taken at the old western photo shop where mom ran into an old indian friend. It is also Motorcycle days here in the Ruidoso/Cloudcroft area and there are thousands of motorcyclist here for a large convention. You might remember me talking about them last year. There were so many cyclists around the gas station it was a joke trying to get gas. It was so loud with all the motors rippin and the cyclist who think they own the road. I was very glad to get out of there. We drove to the top of the Sacramento Mountains at a place called "Sunspot". This is an large observatory of the Sun and they have large instruments who monitor the sun and its activity. So you will see mom standing with the replica of what the sun looks like through the telescopes. Dad is looking at a real sundial and the last picture is of the actiity of the sun through ultra violet lights.
