Ruidoso is called BEar Country! So, ever since I have been here I have hoped to see a bear. Most of the Elders that serve with us have seen one. So I am feeling a little left out. Then we saw a sign on our dumpster that say "BEAR WARNING" There is a very large bear in the area that raids the dumpster almost every night! Wow that was exciting! So dad and I waited outside the dumpster for four hours one night in hopes to see one. But he didn't come! Darn it! We did however see several skunks, as you will see from the pictures I am posting. We did, however, take a picture of the bear that the manager got of the bear in our area. Maybe that is as close as I will ever get is a picture. Oh well, it is exciting. I will tell you one thing, I am very cautious when I go outside at night. I don't want to run into one by surprise.
